Overview

This Italian journey explores three iconic southern destinations. Visitors begin at Pompeii, the ancient Roman city preserved by Vesuvius's 79 AD eruption, then travel along the Divina Costiera to the UNESCO-listed Amalfi Coast with its dramatic cliffs and fishing villages. The tour concludes on the island of Capri, accessible by ferry from the mainland.

Itinerary

1. 01

   Pompeii & Amalfi Arrival

   Depart Rome by coach through southern Italy, stop in Naples for a panoramic tour, enjoy authentic Neapolitan pizza, then explore Pompeii's archaeological treasures with skip-the-line access before driving to Amalfi.

2. 02

   Amalfi Leisure

   Explore the splendid coastal town at your own pace, swim in the Gulf of Salerno, or sample locally-produced limoncello.

   Amalfi to Capri

   Stroll through Amalfi in the morning, transfer to Sorrento around 10 am, board ferry to Capri, and check into hotel.

   Capri Discovery

   Explore Capri independently; optional rowboat excursion to the famous Blue Grotto (weather permitting).

   Departure

   Enjoy breakfast and final shopping in Capri, board afternoon ferry to Naples, continue to Rome with estimated arrival at 9 pm.
